I received a text message this morning while here at the Senior Center. Our beloved friend Jerry Runyan passed away in his home last night at 11 PM. I’m going to miss having Jerry come in to the Senior Center and give me a hard time about not enough gravy, or if I “accidentally” put a single vegetable on his plate. Jerry was one of a kind unless you talked to Linda and Linda would tell you all his kids are just like him. Jer Bear I’m going to miss the hell out of you. May you rest in peace.

Today for lunch at the Senior Center is chicken strips with sweet potato wedges, a strawberry spinach salad with a raspberry vinaigrette and peaches

It is with a heavy heart to make this post… Long time resident of elk Mountain Buster Johnson passed away in his home last night. Buster you will be missed.
