Ignite Your Inner Innovator: The 2026 Youth Entrepreneurship Competition is Calling!

Are you a teenager in the Greater Sacramento Area with a big idea, a passion for innovation, and a drive to change the world? This isn't just another competition; it's a transformative journey from idea to impact.

What is it? A semester-long, multi-phase entrepreneurship competition designed to help high school students (ages 14-18) turn their raw ideas into viable business models. Work in teams of 3-5 students to solve real problems and create real impact.

Your Entrepreneurial Journey: The 4 Phases

Our competition is designed to mimic the lifecycle of a real startup, with expert-guided phases designed to sharpen your business acumen:

Phase 1: Opportunity Identification & Ideation (August - September) Identify gaps in the market, conduct customer discovery, and refine your concept. Learn the "Idea, Plan, Impact" framework.

Phase 2: Product & Market Validation (September - October) Determine your target audience, analyze the competition, and define your unique value proposition. Create and validate your minimal viable product (MVP).

Phase 3: Financial Modeling & Business Plan Development (October - November) Calculate costs, project revenues, and build a sustainable business model. Formulate a comprehensive plan.

Phase 4: Pitch Preparation & The Final Showcase (November - December 10th) Craft a compelling story, design your pitch deck, and practice your delivery. Learn to build the future through your business.

The Grand Finale: Pitch Day

Put everything you've learned to the test! On December 10th, 2026, teams will deliver their final business pitches to a panel of expert judges and potential investors. Showcase your "TECH & INNOVATION" and "SOCIAL IMPACT" to the community.

Prizes & Recognition

Beyond the skills and network you'll build, we offer substantial support for your ventures:

First Place: $1,000 to jumpstart your business.

Second Place: $500.

Third Place: $300.

What an incredible day at our 2026 Lunar New Year Market Fair! 🧧🎉
Seeing the community come together to celebrate culture, tradition, and the beginning of a new year was truly heartwarming.
