Students and families from other communities that do not have a local team are welcome.

Support student-athletes in developing a strong body, strong mind, and strong character

The National Interscholastic Cycling Association (NICA) was founded in 2009 to develop interscholastic mountain biking programs across the United States. NICA provides leadership, services, and governance for regional leagues and local clubs to conduct fun and safe mountain biking skills training and produce quality mountain biking events.

o Promote athlete skills development, excellence, teamwork, professionalism, and respect.

o Promote the sport of mountain biking as a healthy, low impact outdoor recreational lifestyle.

o Adhere to NICA national standards with licensed and certified coaches and volunteers.
