Providing more than just a meal—delivering comfort, connection, and compassion. Our Senior Meal Program is in full swing this summer, ensuring our older neighbors in Hardin County have access to nutritious, fresh food. Here is where and when meals are available this week:

📍 Elizabethtown: Served every Monday and Thursday
📍 Radcliff: Served every Tuesday

How to participate: Neighbors can either swing by for a convenient meal pickup, or have it brought straight to their doorstep by our awesome volunteer delivery team! Want to make a difference? Our mobile meal delivery routes rely entirely on community support. If you have an hour to spare on Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday to help us deliver meals, we would love to have you on board! The hard truth is this:

Without funding, programs like Senior Meal Delivery become impossible to sustain.

And the people hurt most are the seniors who depend on us every single week.

Many of the individuals we serve are homebound, living on fixed incomes, and facing impossible choices between groceries, medication, utilities, and transportation.

Warm Blessings is committed to showing up for them.

But we need our community to show up too.

🧡 A Huge Thank You to Last Thursday’s Volunteer Crew! 🧡

Thursdays are the busiest night of the week at Warm Blessings because we operate three programs simultaneously:

🥘 Community Dinner Service
🚗 Radcliff Mobile Meals
👵 Senior Meal Delivery

That means meals are being prepared, packaged, loaded, delivered, and served—all at the same time.

This past Thursday, our amazing volunteers helped us serve 324 meals across these programs. From the kitchen to the packing line to the delivery routes, every person played an important role in making sure our neighbors received nutritious meals and compassionate care.

We’re especially grateful for the families who volunteered together, demonstrating that service and kindness are values worth passing on to the next generation.

To our volunteers: thank you for showing up, working hard, and helping us meet a growing need in our community. We simply couldn’t do this without you.

These essential items help us provide dignity and support to women and girls facing difficult circumstances in our community. We are grateful for partners who help ensure our neighbors have access to the necessities many of us take for granted.

Tonight’s team was nothing short of amazing! 🧡

From mopping floors and prepping meals to packaging dinners and making sure everything was ready for service, these volunteers stepped up in a big way. Because of their hard work, our neighbors in need received a hot meal, a warm smile, and a reminder that their community cares.
