Yesterday I took to heart something a good friend said. When it comes to social media people want to see who you are. Many of you know that I don't tell my story of service often. I choose to tell what I have discovered about my grandfathers time served. On 9/11 I had the privilege to speak in front of 5th through 12th graders at West Monona and shared a little of my service story during 2001 and how that affected my life. Here is a little bit of my story. Thank you Teresa Shaw for bringing to light how important it is to share your own story as well.

I pledge Allegiance to the flag
of the United States of America
and to the Republic for which it stands,
one nation under God, indivisible,
with Liberty and Justice for all.

Thank you 4th District for having me at your Fall Conference. Meeting some new friends and reconnecting with some old ones as well.
