This is a day of sadness as Lonesome Dove Rescues, Inc., a 501 (c) (3) Livestock rescue, is closing our doors. We became a nonprofit in March of 2014. Before I rescued animals as a child, my first rescue was a 21-year-old horse named PomPom. I was only 11 years old. Sadly, we have lost Linda Kryder and Bonnie Wilkison. They were both amazing ladies and will be remembered with great love and appreciation. I want to acknowledge my dear friend Fred Ellis, who always supported everything I did and gave me great advice. A huge thank you to James Hove for helping me on some very tough rescues. Mostly, thank you to Murdoch's in Parker, Colorado, for being my sponsor for over 7 years, and all the many people who donated feed and items. funding to keep us going. We love you all. God bless. This is Vince a guardian dog whose lineage goes back to imported lines from Bulgaria. He is a little over a year old . We brought Vince in when his last owner did not want to keep him. He does need training but we are extremely excited about his new duties on our ranch guarding his new goats and calves. Ice man our old Pyrenees is 15 years old now and retired from guarding livestock. Vince is coming along nicely
