The past few weeks have been unnecessarily spent trying to figure out how we were going to move forward with our mission. But where there’s a will, there’s a way. 💚🐾
Things are going to be a little more expensive for the rescue without the shelter’s assistance, but thankfully, we’ve been able to source everything our dogs need to still make the trip out of here! We’re keeping our promise to them, even if getting there looks a little different now.
With that said, we have a pretty serious surgery coming up that we can’t share details about just yet. That surgery is expected to cost around $1,800.
Then, on Friday, October 9, transport hits the road again with 37 beautiful souls on board—maybe more, because we always seem to squeeze in a few last-minute babies! 🤣
Here’s what we’re looking at:
🐾 Surgery: $1,800
🚌 Gas: $900
📋 Health certificates: $390
💉 Rabies vaccines: $225
🩺 18 4DX tests at $20 each: $360
That brings our upcoming needs to approximately $3,675, with $1,875 of that going toward getting this group ready and on the road.
We used to get most of these rabies vaccines done through the shelter, so these added expenses are something we’re having to adjust to. But our mission continues, and these dogs still deserve their chance.
If you’re able to help cover a test, a vaccine, gas, or part of the surgery, every donation helps us get there. Thank you to everyone who continues to stand beside us and help us keep a promise to every paw left behind 💚
