We are so incredibly grateful for our community that continues to show up for these dogs month after month. Your support makes every transport possible, and we couldn’t do this without you.

🚨 Transport Fundraiser 🚨

This Friday, 54 beautiful souls will board the bus and head toward their new lives. ❤️

We still need to raise $1,590 to cover their journey:

We kept our promise to the lady in Mexico. ❤️

Thank you to our incredible community for coming together to help this woman and all of her dogs. Every single animal has now been removed from the property, and the few dogs she chose to keep are being fixed tomorrow morning. All of them have been vaccinated and are now being treated for their skin conditions as well.

We brought her everything she needed to last her the entire year… and then some! Including a brand new bed. 🫶🏼

Cleanup efforts are still underway and will continue through the rest of the week. Once everything is fully cleaned, we’ll also be putting up a fence so her dogs can finally have a safe space to run and enjoy life freely.

This is what community looks like. Thank you all for helping us make this happen ❤️

27 dogs are fighting to survive in heartbreaking conditions. 💔

We met a woman in Mexico who has no running water, no electricity, and almost nothing for herself, yet she continues doing everything she can to keep these dogs alive.

There are puppies, mamas, injured dogs, and scared dogs all relying on her for food, shelter, and safety. Despite everything, she has not abandoned them.

We are raising funds to help provide:
🐾 Food & clean water
🐾 Vaccines & medical care
🐾 Spay/neuter support
🐾 Crates, bedding & supplies
🐾 Fencing & property cleanup
🐾 Emergency rescue support for the dogs most at risk

Paws of Promise is helping with medical care, but we urgently need support to give these dogs a real chance at a better life.

Paws of Promise Animal Rescue Organization is looking for amazing foster families to help give loving homes to our pups waiting on their transport date. This is only a few of our pups that need foster homes 😊.

Fostering is fun, meaningful, and truly life-changing, for you and the dog!

🐾 This is foster-only (no option to adopt or keep)

🏡 A home inspection is required

📝 A foster contract must be signed

🚗 Ability to help with vet transport as needed

🐕 Resident pets must be up-to-date on vaccines and spayed/neutered

Sometimes it takes more than one rescue to change a life. ❤️

Meet Waverly. She was found abandoned in Fabens, Texas, and later diagnosed with Patent Ductus Arteriosus (PDA), a serious heart condition. She has now had her life-saving surgery.

Waverly is not an Old English Sheepdog, but she is exactly the kind of dog we all fight for. Our friends at Paws of Promise Animal Rescue Organization stepped in when she had no one. Now we are stepping in to support them.

Waverly’s care is estimated at $7,000. Red River Old English Sheepdog Rescue will match donations up to $2,000 to help offset these costs.

This week has been rough.

I’ve spent more time than I’d like to admit crying behind closed doors. So much that for a moment, I thought my heart might give out. I’ve asked myself why I have to see such things…

Thought about moving far away so I wouldn’t have to witness the suffering anymore. I’ve prayed for God to take this pain from my heart.

We got hit with parvo.

Waverly had surgery.

Then our puppies started dying one by one.

Amelia needed surgery.

Then came the dreaded distemper… and we lost an entire family! 7 babies and their mother 💔

Then the little guy with the chain around his neck.

Then court over a dog that was ours.

Then constables at my door, looking for a dog a foster claimed was hers to keep.

It has been heavy. It has been overwhelming. It has been heartbreaking.

But then I look around…
I look at the lives that are still here.
The ones we’ve saved.
The ones who are safe, loved, and finally home.

Because at the end of the day…
they don’t have anyone else.

So I will carry the heartbreak.
I will carry the exhaustion.
I will carry the weight of it all.

Because they deserve someone who won’t walk away.

This work will break you if you let it…
but if my heart has to break over and over again
so that theirs never has to, then I’ll take that pain every single time!

This is Gods plan for me ❤️

I don’t even know where to begin…

The pitty puppies we just took in have tested positive for parvo this morning.
We are doing everything we can for them—but treatment is not cheap, and time is not on our side.

We need $1,600 immediately to cover the antigen and medications they need to fight this.
I’m going to be honest… this is the part of rescue that breaks you. We say yes when we shouldn’t have to, we take on more than we can afford, and we carry it because their lives depend on it.

Right now, I feel completely overwhelmed. But I’m not giving up on them.

We just can’t do it alone.
