World Diabetes Day highlights the strong connection between diabetes and peripheral vascular disease. Peripheral artery disease (PAD) can progress into critical limb-threatening ischemia (CLTI), a severe condition that places patients at high risk for limb loss. At the Limb Savers Society, many of the individuals we serve are living with diabetes, making it especially important for diabetics to remain vigilant about PAD and CTLI. Early recognition and timely care are essential to preserving mobility, health, and quality of life.
