🎓 College Tour Experience – Bel Air High School Engineering Students

LULAC Council 8, in partnership with the LULAC National Educational Service Centers (LNESC), had the honor of taking Bel Air High School engineering students on a college tour to New Mexico State University.

This visit provided students with first-hand exposure to campus life, academic programs, and the many opportunities available through higher education. Planning for college involves many important steps, and experiences like this help students make informed decisions about their future.

We are proud to support initiatives that empower our youth and encourage them to continue their educational journey.

This Independence Day, we proudly celebrate the founding ideals of freedom, unity, and opportunity — values that have drawn people from around the world to make America their home.

At LULAC Council 8, we recognize the vital role immigrants have played in shaping this country’s history, culture, and future. Except for Native Americans, we are all descendants of those who journeyed here in search of a better life.

This July 4th, let’s honor the contributions of every immigrant who has helped build the America we know today — with resilience, hard work, and hope.

Because America’s strength lies in its diversity.
