🚨BEARTOPIA ALERT🚨 Kick off Beartopia ’26:
GAME ON! with us on Thursday, September 17, 2026, as we take over El Paso for our official Early Bird Bar Crawl! 🐻🏈🍻

If you’re an early bird arriving early on Thursday, we got you! We’re starting Beartopia weekend the only way we know how—bringing the bear community, friends, visitors, and allies together for a night of great drinks, great music, new connections, and Borderland hospitality.

Grab your crew, throw on your favorite sports gear, and make your way through some of El Paso’s favorite LGBTQ+ nightlife spots as we celebrate the beginning of four unforgettable days of Bear Pride, community, brotherhood, and fun.

📚🐻 CHUCO BEARZ BOOK CUBS — CELEBRATING BENJAMIN ALIRE SÁENZ 🐻📚

This month, our Chuco Bearz Book Cubs are proud to come together in celebration of the work of acclaimed author Benjamin Alire Saenz, as we read his beautiful and deeply moving novel, Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe.

Born in the borderlands and deeply connected to our El Paso community, Sáenz has given readers stories that explore identity, family, culture, friendship, love, and the courage it takes to discover who we truly are. Through Aristotle and Dante, we are reminded that sometimes the greatest journey is the one that leads us toward understanding and accepting ourselves.

For our Book Cubs, this selection is especially meaningful. It gives us an opportunity not only to experience an extraordinary LGBTQ+ story, but also to celebrate a local literary voice whose work has reached readers far beyond our borderland community.

As Los Chuco Bearz continues creating spaces for connection, education, culture, and belonging, we believe stories like this matter. Representation matters. Our voices matter. And there is something powerful about gathering as a community to see pieces of ourselves, our culture, and our home reflected on the page.

We invite our community to read alongside us as we honor Benjamin Alire Sáenz and explore the universe of Aristotle and Dante together.

Much love to all of Benjamin’s loved ones and may his legacy continue to shine through our generations and borderlands. ❤️🫶🏻🙏🏻

🏈🔥 30 DAYS UNTIL BEARTOPIA ’26! 🔥🏈

The countdown is officially ON! 30 days from now, our communities come together in El Paso for four unforgettable days of PRIDE, BROTHERHOOD, CELEBRATION, and COMMUNITY! 🐻❤️

For five years, Beartopia has been about more than a party. It’s about creating a space where we can show up boldly, authentically, and unapologetically as ourselves. It’s about friendships that cross city and state lines, supporting our local community, celebrating our diversity, and reminding one another that we belong.

This year, we’re calling the play…

🎮🏈 GAME ON!

To everyone traveling to El Paso, our local community, our Bear family, Leather family, Gogos, performers, partners, venues, volunteers, and supporters — this celebration belongs to ALL of us.

Get your jerseys ready. Bring your gear. Bring your Pride. And most importantly, bring the energy!

The field is set.
The teams are coming together.
And in just 30 DAYS, El Paso becomes BEARTOPIA! 🐻🔥Check out our Instagram bio for schedule, pool party, gear night tickets, 🎟️ and full event details!

All of us at Los Chuco Bearz would like to THANK YOU for your enthusiasm and support walking with us last Saturday during the 2026 Pride Parade. We could not have asked for a better way to spend Pride than to have so many hands to carry our flag and help us demonstrate our presence and support for our community. We hope you enjoyed marching with us and look forward to seeing you again next year!

We would like to remind you that pride is much more than just a weekend. Pride is a year-long movement and an ongoing fight for rights and visibility of the LGBTQIA+ community. Whenever you can, please remember to support even in small ways. A kind gesture can make a world of difference for anyone who is struggling or who feels like they don’t belong. You will always have a safe space with Los Chuco Bearz, and we are here for you always. Keep on shining and keep on making a difference at home, at work and in your community!

Warmest regards,
Los Chuco Bearz Leadership and Gogos

Afectuosamente,
