🐝 On this World Bee Day, let’s remember that the tiny creatures we often overlook are responsible for helping our planet bloom, grow, and thrive. 🌎

Some easy ways to help support bees:
🌼 Plant bee-friendly flowers and native plants
🚫 Avoid using harmful pesticides
🏡 Adjust your lawn care by mowing less and even delaying the first cut

Bees don’t just make honey - they sustain ecosystems, support biodiversity, and help feed the world. Protect the bees, and we protect our future. 🐝

‼️ Meet the Northern Mockingbird! A master mimic that can copy the sounds of other birds, insects, frogs, and even mechanical noises. 🤯

These highly territorial birds sing year-round and fiercely defend their nests, often dive bombing humans and animals that get too close! During the summer they feast on insects, while in winter they switch to berries and fruit.

This one mockingbird was putting on quite the concert outside our office… how many different sounds can you hear? 👀 Let us know in the comments! 👇🏾

💫 Yesterday, we had the incredible honor of receiving the TecH2O Partner of the Year Award! We’ve truly loved partnering with their amazing conservation team on events, camps, and community outreach, and we’re so grateful for the opportunity to connect with our community through meaningful collaborations like this one. 💦

We also had the chance to celebrate TecH2O’s amazing team of volunteers, whose passion and dedication help ensure every guest leaves with a deeper understanding of the importance of water conservation. 👏💧

Thank you so much for this incredible award! We are so excited to continue working alongside their team to create more impact in our community! 🤩

We had an amazing time last week celebrating Earth Day with the students at ! 🌎

These curious young minds asked thoughtful questions and shared inspiring ideas about how they can help protect our planet and the incredible creatures we share it with. 🥹

We’re so grateful to partner with Vista del Sol Environmental Science Academy to help spark a love for conservation in the next generation of leaders. And of course, our animal ambassadors loved all the extra attention! 🐾

A big thank you to for inviting us and making the day so engaging for the students. We loved every minute of it! 🙏

Before National Volunteer Week comes to a close, we want to take a moment to celebrate and thank our incredible volunteers! 🙏

From supporting education programs and engaging with the community, to caring for animals and helping at fundraising events, their impact is felt in every part of what we do. Even more inspiring is the passion and enthusiasm they bring as they share the importance of conservation education with our city. ⭐️

We are deeply grateful for their time, dedication, and heart. None of this would be possible without them, so we’ve put together small thank-you goody bags as a token of our appreciation.

We had an incredible morning yesterday at the PDNC Foundation Re-Imagine Nonprofit Conference! ⭐️

We left feeling energized and inspired to keep expanding on our hands-on educational opportunities for learners of all ages in our community to engage with nature and animals. 🤩

And a fun highlight- some of our animal ambassadors even made a special cameo in the EP Giving Day theme unveiling video! 🐐
