CMTF President James Amos had a wonderful time with my friend and Christian Mission Training Fund graduate Pastor Emmanuel, last Sunday.

The church he has planted, Celebration Community Church - Africa Branch is tied to our Granite City friends at C3 GC.

I saw a powerful teaching from the Word, filled with zealous evangelical theology and culturally relevant illustrations. It was a whole lot of fun.

CMTF is thrilled to announce that our first round of pastoral students have completed their theological education at Melvin College, in Oyugis, Kenya!

James Amos will return to Kenya in time for the graduation ceremony in early June 2024, and will be able to send lots of pictures of the big day, as well as stories of what happens next for these students.

Over the past two years, 4 of the 6 CMTF scholarship students have planted churches in Kenya.

CMTF praises Jesus for his work in and through these kingdom workers!

On Sunday, one of the students we sponsor, Pastor Jared, had the opportunity to share Christ with perhaps 3,000 young people.

I don't have many details, but he informed me that it was clear that many young people gave their lives to the Lord, and sent me this photo. You can see Pastor Jared holding a mic in the center-right of the photo.

We thank Jesus!
