Empowered Steps: Dancing with Aphasia and Brain Injury Join us for a fun and free movement class at the University of Texas at El Paso! Thursdays 5:00 p.m.. Lisa Smith Bandy is a dancer, choreographer & teacher.

She founded Empowered Steps El Paso to help the brain-injured and aphasic rediscover movement and grace.

Lisa Smith is a retired UTEP Dance Program Director. She developed a dance workshop after she experience a stroke of her own.
