Canine & Equine Ranch, also known as The Ranch, is a 501c3 non-profit organization that was formed to offer sanctuary to neglected animals and provide educational experiences to the community. Our outreach programs offer educational experiences with sanctuary residents and trained therapy animals. We provide a volunteer program as well as autism support and homeschool sessions. Our goal is to teac

h compassionate handling and proactive training methods, to help prevent more animals from entering the rescue system. We want our community to be excited about animals! The Ranch has provided a home to many animals that have been rescued, adopted or donated. We specialize in canine and equine species but have open arms for many different types of creatures. Once they have been rehabilitated, they are able to interact with visitors for educational purposes. From community art classes to animal visits at the assisted living facility, we've done our job when we see the smiles!

Yesterday, Irish made a special appearance at a middle school for an eighth grade speech assignment!

Elliotte did a wonderful job presenting her topic of horses. Irish stood so politely and barely raised her head at the applause. Everyone also got to enjoy a meet and greet afterwards.

Kudos to Elliotte and Irish for a job well done! Thanks to Alyssa for being an awesome mentor and coordinating a live horse to make it a memorable presentation!
