Our organization started out rescuing farmed animals in 2017 when we saw an urgent need to help their outcry and educate the public of their plight. As of 2021 our mission has included rescuing homeless cats and providing them with a lifetime care that they deserve. Our mission has morphed into a combination of rescuing farmed animals and homeless cats as well as providing the public with vital information on how to live a cruelty free life.

Salem County Pride+ was so good to us yesterday! Thank you for having us and allowing us to spread the word about our mission. With the help of Steady Roots 🌻 and the generosity of everyone there yesterday it allowed us to reach $300 to purchase hay for the animals. Thank you!! FUNDRAISER UPDATE!

We’ve raised $177/$500 needed for us to buy an adoption kennel that can house multiple cats! This is being sold by 12inchtails Cat Rescue in order for them to purchase new flooring for their rescue. So this campaign really helps out two local rescues, 12 Inch Tails and us!
We were generously told we can pick up the kennel NOW and give payments as the donations come in. How incredibly thoughtful! We will be picking up the kennel as soon as we can arrange transportation. 🙌🏻

17 weeks ago we said goodbye to you. It was a gut wrenching decision but one that showed true compassion. Life is so precious yet so many humans tend to take it all for granted. When you work with animals who are born into an industry that profits off of their short life you strive to provide them with the opposite. Marley would have only lived a few months, at the most, if he stayed at the place he was born. Male cattle have no use to farmers in the dairy industry. Instead of a life full of misery we were able to give him a life of love, safety, and friendship. A life that had purpose. Knowing him was a true blessing.
Marley was so funny, intelligent, loving, accepting, and truly inspiring to us all. His huge heart matched his huge size and he was a friend to everyone he met. We named this sanctuary after him because he was absolutely everything that embodied love. Even though he’s gone from this earth his legacy will live on. He continues to inspire me daily and I strive to be a better person in everything I do.

I miss you fiercely and love you even more.
