Once a month, let each child choose a favorite free or low-cost activity for just the two of you.

2. Let Them Have a Say
Give them choices throughout the week, and let them pick things like Sunday dinner, the family movie, or where to go for an afternoon adventure.

3. Make Birthdays Special
Make their favorite meal and serve it on the “birthday plate.” Create little traditions they’ll remember long after the cake is gone.

4. Tell Them What You Love About Them
Leave a note in their lunch, write on the bathroom mirror, or simply tell them: “Here are 5 things I love about you.”

5. Celebrate the Little Things
Notice the ordinary wins. A good grade, a hard conversation, a great game, a kind choice, or simply making it through a tough day. Let them know you noticed.

Today, we’re celebrating the incredible teachers who pour into our children day after day — and who come alongside single moms to help care for, encourage, teach, and love their kids. ❤️

For a single mom, knowing there is a teacher who sees her child, believes in them, advocates for them, and helps them grow can mean more than words can say.

Teachers aren’t just teaching lessons. They’re helping shape the next generation. They’re building confidence, nurturing dreams, offering encouragement, and becoming part of the village that helps children thrive. 🌱✨
