Edina Give & Go helps local kids get the equipment, fees, and opportunities to play the sports they love — no matter their family’s budget. The Edina Community Foundation invests right back into our community.

The Dash sends 100% of proceeds to both. You dash; a kid gets to play. See you on the 4th!

New in 2026….we’re crowning FOUR “FASTEST IN EDINA” CHAMPIONS! The Edina Dash will now crown Fastest Woman, Fastest Man, Fastest Girl, & Fastest Boy for the 3/4 mile dash down 50th St! Winners will receive custom medals (and bragging rights!) they can wear all year. Lots of prizes and give-aways to ALL DASHERS, too!

Ever wonder how the Edina Dash started? 💚

It began with two Edina brothers who’d seen how much sports meant to kids, and how not every family can afford them. So they built a race to help.

Three years later, the Dash is a 4th of July tradition that’s raised $18,000+ for local kids.

On Saturday, July 4, we kick off the Edina 4th of July Parade with a fast, fun, ¾-mile sprint down 50th St in front of 20,000 of your neighbors — and YOU’RE invited! Runners, joggers, walkers, costume-wearers… everyone belongs at the starting line.
Every $20 entry goes 100% to Edina kids through Edina Give & Go and the Edina Community Foundation.
The Edina Dash was founded by two Edina teens in 2024. In two years, we have raised $18,000 and every penny has gone to help Edina kids. Let’s make 2026 the best one yet!
