Our California Mentor Inland Empire Family Home Agency program brought Mentors, their families, and the individuals they support together for a fun-filled day at Dave & Buster’s! From games and laughter to raffle prizes, it was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the people who make our community so special.

A special shout-out to Olga, who has supported Symba since joining our program in 2024. With Olga’s patience and encouragement, Symba has grown from attending her in-person day program two days a week to four! It’s a wonderful example of how compassionate, person-centered support can help someone thrive.

To Olga and all our incredible Mentors, thank you for opening your homes, sharing your hearts, and making a meaningful difference every day!

Meet Eden!

Since joining the California Mentor Family Home Agency family in February 2022, Eden has continued to grow in confidence, discover new interests, and build greater independence — and we love seeing where her journey takes her!

One of Eden’s favorite things to do is ride the Metro train. With a little support from her brother or Mentor when purchasing her ticket, Eden is able to travel independently — something that gives her a wonderful sense of freedom and accomplishment.

For the past year, Eden has been living with her current Mentor, and together, they’ve built a strong and meaningful relationship. Her Mentor encourages Eden as she works toward the goals she chooses for herself, providing support while giving her the space to learn, grow, and do things on her own.

And if you know Eden, you know she LOVES to laugh! She enjoys trips to McDonald’s, riding in the front seat, and singing in the car.

Eden brings joy, laughter, and so much personality wherever she goes. We’re proud to celebrate her accomplishments and growing independence!
