5/14/2026 - Emergency Resource Partners of Torrance County Volunteer Meeting. Meeting is at 5:30pm at 753 Salt Mission Trail, McIntosh. All are welcome!

5/26/2026 - Local Emergency Planning Committee Meeting. Meeting is at 9:00am at 205 S 9th Street, Estancia and on Zoom. See torrancecountynm.org or Torrance County Local Emergency Planning Committee for agenda and zoom link (posted the week prior to the meeting). All are welcome!

The Torrance County Commission is accepting letters of interest from the populace of District 1 and District 2 to fill two vacancies on the Planning and Zoning board. Eligible applicants for appointment to the Planning and Zoning Board shall meet the following minimum requirements:

Torrance County Emergency Manager spoke today at the New Mexico Rural Water Association Annual Conference. This was a coordinated presentation with McKinley County Emergency Management, Dona Ana County Emergency Management, Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Management, Socorro County Local Emergency Planning Committee, and the New Mexico Environmental Department. It was great to interact with all the participating water systems!

April 11th - Torrance County Emergency Management will have a booth set up at the Health Fair prior to the CNMEC Annual Meeting. Health Fair is at Estancia High School from 8am to 11am.

April 23rd - Emergency Resource Partners of Torrance County Volunteer Meeting - 5:30pm.
753 Salt Mission Trail, McIntosh.
Meeting will include a QPR Su***de Awareness guest speaker.

April 28th - Local Emergency Planning Committee Meeting 9:00am. Meetings are held at 205 S Ninth Street, Estancia, and on Zoom. Presentation on dangers of propane.
