"Go up, eat and drink, for there is the sound of abundance of rain" (1st Kings 18:41)

Our worship leader gave us wise words to think about this past Sunday:
The declaration of Independence was adopted July 4th 1776 - but America's Independence was not formally recognized until 1783 - with many signatures, battles, and treaties taking place in between.
The point being that THE DECLARATION was made long before the manifestation.

After a severe drought, Elijah told Ahab to, "go up, eat and drink, for there is the SOUND of abundance of rain."
Seven times Elijah sent his servant to tell him what he could SEE - Elijah knew that what his servant SAW was not as important as what Elijah HEARD..
He heard in his spirit, "an abundance of rain."
His faith heard the rain before there was a cloud in the sky!
He made the DECLARATION before the manifestation! .. Then he LOOKED for it over and over, and over .. until it was so!

What are you hearing in your spirit today?!
What vision or dream has God put in your heart?!
What is God telling you about your future and present circumstances?
If you're not sure; pray and search the scriptures.
As our worship leader challenged us:
What declaration are you ready to make based on God's Word and His will for your life TODAY?!

Declare your independence from the 'enemy."
“There is a cloud, as small as a man’s hand, rising out of the sea!” (1Kings 18:44)
GO - prepare for rain!!
