Your baby’s movements are one of the best ways to understand how they’re doing 🤍

Every baby has their own pattern - pay attention to what’s normal for yours, including when they’re active and how their movements feel.

Babies don’t slow down at the end of pregnancy and don’t typically stay quiet for more than 1.5–2 hours. If you notice fewer movements, weaker movements, or anything that feels different - trust your instincts.

📞 Call your provider or get checked right away if something feels off. It’s always okay to ask.

Mom’s concerns about her baby’s movements are the most important warning sign.

🤍 Don’t ignore your instincts - your worry matters more than any set number of kicks.

Most OBs and midwives enter the field to care for families, but when it comes to loss, many feel unprepared.

Research shows that most providers receive little to no training in bereavement care, and 31% say the training they did receive wasn’t enough (Ellis et al., 2016).

Families navigating pregnancy and infant loss deserve informed, compassionate support. It starts with better education.
