Back-to-school season is such an exciting time, but we also know it can be an expensive one. New clothes, fresh tennis shoes, classroom supplies, and school fees, it all adds up quickly.

At Just Jesus Ministries, we want to be a blessing to families in our community. If school fees are a burden for your family this year, please reach out to us in a private message. We would be honored to work with you and the school directly to help take care of your child’s fees.

Our heart is simply to relieve some stress, support our students, and remind families that they are not alone.

And if you feel led to partner with JJM in this way and help bless local students, we would love to hear from you as well.

We are so excited for our students and believing for all the big ways Jesus will show up in this school year ahead. 🖤

As summer break winds down, we’re praying over our youth. 💛
Praying for peace over pressure.
Confidence over confusion.
Truth over fear.
And hearts that stay close to Jesus in every new season.

We wanted to share a little bit of the behind the scenes work that Just Jesus Ministries has been doing this summer, not to boast or brag and not to draw attention to ourselves, but to bring awareness to the real ways God is moving through every dollar given and every prayer prayed.

This summer, two different local homes have been blessed with donated beds and box springs.
Rent, water, electric, utilities, and insurance payments have been covered to help relieve stress and bless those in need.

And beyond what can be seen, so many prayers have been prayed for our youth, our community, our friends, and the people God continues to place on our hearts.

Jesus said, “In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:16

We are so grateful for every person who gives, prays, supports, and believes in what God is doing through this ministry. Your generosity is making a difference, and your prayers matter more than you know.

How cool is our God? 🙌

That He can use something as simple as social media to connect hearts, stir prayer, and bring people together in real life. What started as following someone online and praying for them became a real-life moment only God could orchestrate.

This is such a reminder that the Lord is moving in ways we don’t always expect. He can use platforms, posts, messages, and moments to connect His people for His glory. We really were born for such a time as this, a time where even technology can be used to point people back to Jesus, encourage one another, and remind us that God is always at work behind the scenes.

“And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?” — Esther 4:14

Only God could write a story like this. 💛

There are so many things in this world that promise to satisfy us.

More stuff. More attention. More success. More comfort. More control. More of what we think we need.

And yet somehow, without Jesus, we still end up thirsty.

That’s what has been sitting with me lately -- how easy it is to chase things that can never truly fill what only Christ can satisfy. The things of this world may feel good for a moment, but they will always - ALWAYS - leave us longing for more.

Jesus told the Samaritan woman, “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. - John 4:4-10

What I want is not always what I need.
What I need is Jesus - the ONLY One who truly satisfies what the world can NEVER.

Summer may look a little quieter, but that does not mean God has stopped moving. 🙌

At Just Jesus Ministries, we are still praying, still believing, still encouraging, and still trusting that the Lord is working in hearts all across our community. Not every season is loud. Some seasons are about roots growing deep, faith getting stronger, and hearts being prepared for what’s next.

If your summer feels slow, uncertain, or different than you expected, take heart — God is still present in it.

We’re believing this summer will be full of peace, purpose, healing, and fresh hunger for Jesus. 🖤
