So, I have been a little foggy today and not keeping up with our social media very well. I apologize for delayed responses and missed calls. Please know I am working on catching up.

Nothing prepares your heart for the hurt it feels to bring home an empty carrier. You go weeks hoping and praying for a miracle, you go to multiple vet visits, you try everything possible. But sometimes, the most humane thing to do, is to let them go.

Rest easy now and forever Spicy Nugget. You were my boys best friend and I know he was waiting for you at the bridge.

Five of the little furballs chowing down were spayed/neutered today. The other Spay is in a different area but she is here eating, relaxing and doing well.

Thanks to a fantastic sponsor all our surgeries were covered today and the donations previously received can now go towards Monday's six surgeries.

We are thankful from the tips of our toes to the tops of our heads for each and every one of you!!!!

Good morning! Its a big day for some little faces!

Spay and Neuter is the most humane way we can battle the overpopulation crisis we face in Polk Co.

Every and any cat that comes to SCW will be spayed or neutered eve. If they are not adoptable later. If we can trap or catch a feral : TNR, if we get kittens, once at weight; S/N. This is not an option, this is a SOLUTION.

We have 6 surgeries today, 1 sick visit tomorrow and then 6 more surgeries next week. Any and all help is appreciated

Hey guys! Theres still time to sponsor a kitten or two for spay/neuters. The first 6 go tomorrow and then we actually have 6 more lined up for Monday.

We still need to order microchips and vaccines but won't be able to do so if we dont get some donations coming in.

Adoption photos are fantastic, but updates (even recent adoption updates) make me tear up a little.

Noisy Boy NKA Lychee and Goldie NKA Mellon are doing amazing and the new family is completely in love with them.

Tater NKA Spicy Tater has a look of aww in her eyes and she now has a small human (aka child) of her own.

I could not have hand selected better families for these two! We are beyond grateful for all those that help us, help them.

Adoption is not the only way to help! As we continue to grow we are now accepting applications for volunteers at the PetSmart Kennels. If you or someone you know is looking for community service hours or just looking to spend time with some super amazing cats, please message us for more details.
