…be it mentally, emotionally or the need for tangible things, sometimes, we ALL need some form of help.
Thus, TCupsHeart was born…from a place of love, dedication, understanding, enlightenment…and the list goes on.
As an only child for the bulk of my childhood, I spent a lot of time with my Granpa. The memories I have with him are deeply rooted in love, care and compassion. As far as I was concerned, my Granpa was the strongest, most loving man I knew and had the honor of being around and related to. Whenever you saw him, I was either with him or not far behind!
Referred to by some as, a gentle giant, without hesitation, Granpa was ALWAYS doing something to help someone in some form or fashion.
And right by his side you’d find me in the mix helping him help others.
From assisting fellow church members or community members with various tasks, to packing and distributing food boxes to the needy or merely keeping our church, Christ Cornerstone Missionary Baptist Church, clean and tidy.
Granpa served as Deacon, Treasurer, Bus Driver, Maintenance Man…etc…etc…etc!
“Brother Wynn” was a jack of ALL trades!
Granpa taught me that no matter what you do, do it from the heart…and do it right!!
Experiencing firsthand the passion and joy that Granpa had, merely by helping his fellow man no matter what, was what I always admired about him.
As a kid on day #6 out of #7, ” down at the church”, I’d think to myself (never aloud 😊) …for the love of all things sacred!!! Can we please just go home!?!?
I didn’t understand nor appreciate until becoming a mature adult how important and special those times were for others, particularly me, and would ultimately shape me.
TCupsHeart isn’t just a nonprofit organization, it’s the essence of who I am.
My heart is big and my cup overflows with the desire to help those in need.
This launch is only the beginning. Over the coming months, I’ll be conducting programs, seminars and hosting events to give support to families within our community.
Aiding our children and teens with resources to overcome adolescent concerns and trauma and to help them create a strong foundation to become responsible and accountable adults.
This undertaking I do in remembrance of my Granpa, George Washington Wynn.
Please like and follow and stay tuned for the works, of TCupsHeart…
