**UPDATE** The trailer has found a home. Thank you to the Blackard Family!

PRHS welding students have been hard at work this semester. Their capstone project for this year was this beautiful 10ft trailer. They have worked their tails off to get it finished up. And now it could be yours!! With that being said this trailer is looking for a home. The PRHS welding students built this thing from the ground up and let us tell you it’s a tank! Built out of all 3/16in mild steel, this thing will outlast any cheap trailer you buy from the store. Please feel free to contact Mr. Highfill at 913-360-0589 for more details.

Meet our Member of the Year, Haddie Miller!! Haddie truly embodies what an FFA member is. Not only is she actively involved in our community, but she is also very involved in our chapter. From showing up to every community service event to loading the van for livestock and meats, we can always count on her. We can not wait to see what Haddie's bright ☀️ future has to offer!

Meet our May Member of the Month, Gracie Kern!!! She is a very active member as she comes to all of our community service events, helped plan FFA week, and competes in vet science!! She also is part of the Bell 4-H where she shows goats. Thank you Gracie for your hard work and dedication!!

Yesterday PRMS FFA traveled to Holton, KS to complete in the NEK Middle School Ag Academy. Our middle schoolers worked and studied hard. We can’t wait to see what they accomplish in high school. The results are follows:

Yesterday, we traveled to Seneca, KS and Marysville, KS for the Northeast District Banquet. We would like to thank everyone that made this event happen. We would also like to thank Valley View Milling for hosting a tour of their facility. With that being said we had a lot of big accomplishments yesterday!!!!! Not only did Pleasant Ridge FFA win the district CDE sweepstakes but Ms. Payton Ernzen earned a position as the 26-27 NED Treasurer!!!!!!! We would like to extend a big shoutout to everyone that supports this program and makes these awesome things happen!!!!

On Friday we traveled to Tonganoxie, Kansas to compete in the Chieftain Challenge. Our Livestock Teams and Vet Science Teams competed. Even with the chance of storms rolling in and not being able to give reasons, these rams still had an amazing day! The results are as follows:

Yesterday we travelled to Seneca, Kansas to compete in our District Livestock Contest. The teams had a great day winning both A and B team contests!! The individual results are as follows:

Yesterday we travelled to Lyons, Ks to compete in the Blue Dragon Classic Livestock Judging Contest. Students had long day with a 12 class, 4 sets of reasons contest. Thanks to the Hutch livestock judging team for putting on such a high quality contest!
