Blue Star Mothers - Eastern MA Chapter We are mothers, step mothers or legal guardians who have children currently serving or that have served in the Armed Forces of the USA.

We do not support any political candidate nor do we endorse any religious organization. The military represents all aspects of America as does our organization. Links to our website do not represent an endorsement. We are a 501(c)3 Organization. The Blue Star Mothers of America is a national organization chartered by congress in 1942. There are over 6,000 members with over 200 chapters across the country. The Eastern Mass chapter, chartered in 2006 is one of 3 active chapters in the state of Massachusetts. We meet monthly where we discuss ways we can support causes and events for our troops, veterans and their families all while bonding and supporting each other. Our chapter's three fold mission: SUPPORT OUR CHILDREN, SUPPORT OUR VETERANS, SUPPORT EACH OTHER.

🧵🇺🇸A Tradition of Service 🇺🇸🧵

The Eastern Massachusetts Chapter of Blue Star Mothers gathered at the Homes For Our Troops Headquarters in Taunton for our annual holiday stocking sewing event - a tradition that has continued for more than 15 years!

Members, both longtime and new, spent the day sewing, sharing fellowship, and preparing holiday stockings for our service members. This year, the stockings will be distributed through USO Logan Airport in Boston and Coast Guard Station Boston in the North End. 🎄❤️

A special thank-you to Brian Berry and Texas Roadhouse in Plymouth, MA for providing the food for our hard-working volunteers! We are also grateful to Homes For Our Troops for generously providing the space for us to gather and continue this wonderful tradition.

We're proud to continue a tradition of service, friendship, and support for those who serve our country. 🇺🇸❤️🤍💙

⭐ Gold Star Mother's and Family's Day 🇺🇸

Today, we pause with reverence to honor the mothers and families whose loved ones made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation.

Behind every Gold Star is a family whose life was forever changed. A mother who carries her child in her heart. A spouse, parent, sibling, child, and family who carry memories, love, and a sacrifice beyond measure.

To our Gold Star Mothers and Gold Star Families, we see you, we honor you, and we remember your loved ones. Their names, their service, and their sacrifice will never be forgotten.

Blue Star Mothers of America stands beside you today and always with our deepest respect and gratitude. 💛⭐

May we never forget that the freedoms we cherish came at an extraordinary cost, carried not only by our Fallen Heroes, but by the families who continue to carry their legacy.

Honor Flight New England: Flight 71

We're back, Boston!!

Please join us at Boston Logan International Airport on Sunday, September 27th, for our final flight of 2026.

Our buses will be arriving at Delta Terminal Door A 202 at approximately 7:00 a.m.

Please plan to arrive early enough to park and get to the terminal by 6:45 so that you may greet these HEROES with all the signs, handshakes, and hugs you've got!

We can't wait to see you all in a few weeks!!
