Tawas Area Education Foundation The TAEF is a philanthropic group that provides mini grants for staff and scholarships for students.

Donations of all types whether it is In Memory of or Honor of a loved one, the Tree of Learning, Payroll Deduction (for Tawas Area School Personnel), or an Annual Donation; will accumulate over the years and appear on our Recognition Board which hangs across from the gym in our high school.
​The Tawas Area Education Foundation (TAEF) is a nonprofit and tax-exempt organization established in 1990.

It provides financial support for creative, progressive and innovative education for Tawas Area students and scholarship assistance for Tawas Area High School graduates. TAEF funding does not replace school taxes, nor is it used for day-to-day operations.
~OUR FUTURE~
​ The Tawas Area Education Foundation is an affiliate of the Iosco County Community Foundation with an all-volunteer Board of Directors operating under a published set of bylaws. TAEF raises money for the Tawas Area Education Fund and acts as the Advisory Committee to the Fund regarding educational grants and scholarship awards. Our continuing mission is to build a permanent endowment fund which will provide income to meet the needs of Tawas Area students now and in the future.

We will do our best to reschedule a date for the community to be able to learn of all the great things about the Education Foundation!
