The Greater Essex Community Uplift Foundation (GECUF), in partnership with Valley Bank, invites aspiring and current business owners to attend Funding Your Business: A Resource Session for Entrepreneurs on March 28, 2026, from 12:00 – 2:00 PM at the Omega Family Resource and Learning Center in East Orange, NJ.

This practical, community-focused session is designed to help entrepreneurs move their ideas forward with clarity and confidence. Participants will engage in meaningful conversations around:

• Determining if business ownership is right for you
• Turning your start-up idea into an actionable business plan
• Understanding banking solutions and financial tools available to small businesses

This event is FREE and open to the public. Light refreshments will be provided.

If you are serious about launching or strengthening your business, this session will provide insight, structure, and access to financial expertise that can help position you for long-term success.

GECUF in collaboration La Casa De Don Pedro, East Orange Family Success Center, Goode Education Group and community partners, hosted its monthly Community Resource Fair on Wednesday, March 29, 2023. The event was held at the Omega Family Resource and Learning Center (132 S. Harrison St., East Orange, NJ), and focused on women health in honor of women's history month. Thank you to all of the attendees our community partners!

The mission of the Foundation is to ensure greater independence and empowerment of our surrounding communities through a program of philanthropy.
