Last night, Troop 362 celebrated one of our largest Courts of Honor in recent memory! We welcomed 5 new Scouts, recognized advancements through First Class, Star, and Life ranks, and thanked our outgoing Senior Patrol Leader, Pablo Jr., and Scoutmaster, Pablo Pierrera, for their outstanding service.

We also installed our new Scoutmaster, Theo Kalogiannas, and learned about the rich history and symbolism of our troop’s Scoutmaster slide, a tradition spanning decades.

Congratulations to all our Scouts on their achievements. It was a great night for Troop 362!

Today, members of Troop 362 proudly served as the Color Guard at the East Meadow Community Day opening ceremony. Following the ceremony, the Scouts hosted a knot-tying station and staffed tents where they shared the adventures and opportunities of Scouting with members of the community and even some storm troopers!

We were honored to welcome Hempstead Town Supervisor John Ferretti, Hempstead Town Clerk Kate Murray, Councilman Dennis Dunne, Sr., who stopped by to meet our Scouts and take photos with them.

We are grateful for the opportunity to serve and represent Scouting in East Meadow. We love being part of the East Meadow community! ⚜️🇺🇸

BULLY! 🇺🇸 A big thank you to the Scouts who returned to Calverton National Cemetery today to remove the flags we placed last week. Honoring our nation’s heroes is important, but so is returning to complete the task. It shows true commitment, responsibility, and respect when we see a job through from start to finish.

Troop 362 was busy honoring those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation. 🇺🇸 On Saturday, we placed flags at the graves of servicemen and women, and on Sunday, we took part in the Memorial Day Service for the Town of East Meadow. We are grateful for the patriotism and service of these young men! 🙏

A Scout is… loyal. Loyal to our country and our veterans! 🇺🇸
Last night, our troop served as the honor guard as veterans from the Vietnam War, the Gulf War, and even World War II returned from Washington, D.C. It was truly an honor to serve and to show these heroes our gratitude.

Troop 362 Adventures at Camp Hero! This weekend, our Scouts journeyed to Camp Hero in Montauk, where we prepped our own meals, completed a 5-mile hike to the Montauk Lighthouse, and ended the day with a meaningful campfire and flag retirement ceremony. 🔥🇺🇸

Proud of our Scouts for their teamwork, leadership, and respect for tradition. Great job, Troop 362!
