Citizens for Access Rights Citizens for Access Right (CFAR) is a group of East End residents who support open access to local beaches.

One of the treasured aspects of living on the East End is the free and open use of our ocean and bay beaches. Residents have always enjoyed the unfettered right to stroll, swim, fish, shellfish and surf at our beaches. In response to two lawsuits in which private individuals are claiming to own the ocean beach at Napeague, CfAR has come together to support the Trustees, the Town Board and any othe

r governmental body which is willing to oppose the privatization of our beaches. CfAR is not affiliated with any political party and its sole objective is the preservation of our right to enjoy local beaches, one of our most valuable assets, to the fullest extent possible.
