The Rotary Club of the Bridgewaters honored Dale Julius at their Citizen of the Year event on May 8th. Certainly, it was a well-deserved recognition. (Bicentennial Committee members were also acknowledged at the event.) Hearty congratulations to Dale!

Join us as we celebrate “Scouting In East Bridgewater" on Saturday (Jan 27) at Town Hall from 10am-2pm!
We planned the Scout-O-Rama to be a camp out at Sachem Rock in September, but it was rained out. So this Saturday we will be hosting an open house with displays and demonstrations to spotlight our scouting groups: Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Brownies, Cub Scouts and Venture Scouts. We want to highlight Scouting for ALL of our youth!
C’mon down! We may even have Girl Scout Cookies for sale!

Fun Facts Friday

Sorry this last post is a little late but like a lot of other people I have been under the weather.

A brief message from Tom and Kris:

When Kris Resendes first mentioned the idea of Fun Facts Friday to me as part of the East Bridgewater Bicentennial celebration I agreed that it sounded like a lot of fun. This has turned out to be the case and we hope that our readers have enjoyed our weekly posting of questions as much as we have enjoyed preparing them. January 1 marked the official end of the East Bridgewater Bicentennial Commemoration. Thank you for following along and we hope everyone had a great holiday season and a Happy New Year.

(The answer to our final Fun Facts Friday is to allow the cows to safely graze in a nearby field.)
