East Bernard Fair Fund East Bernard Fair Fund, Inc. Since 1987 the East Bernard Fair Fund has been helping the youth of our community. All cookers are welcome!

is a non-profit, charitable organization dedicated to supporting the youth of East Bernard and Lissie who participate in the Wharton County Youth Fair. For 38 years, the volunteers and parents of the EBFF have worked to ensure the students who exhibit in the WCYF are rewarded for their hard work, dedication and efforts with their FFA and 4H club projects. The EBFF couldn’t do what we do without th

e support of our generous donors and countless volunteers! Our community has raised money to support thousands of local students and their projects. Our annual cook-off fundraiser is held each spring, before the fair. The categories include chili, beans, cornbread, ribs, chicken, dessert chef’s choice, margarita, and dip. The entry fee is $30/category except for margarita & dip - $10/entry or enter all nine for $195. Complete rules and entry forms can be downloaded on the Cook-Off page. Our annual Chili cook-off competition will be held on March 1, 2025. A Pork Steak Dinner and Live Auction will follow the cook-off, where results and prizes will be awarded.

Fair Fund Setup:
Directors Room: 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM
Crescent Hall: Begins at 10:30 AM on Sale Day

Freezer Sale Information & Details:
The Freezer Sale Office will be open in the Main Office on Friday March 27, 2026 from noon until 5:00pm for pre-sales. Phone sales will not be taken until 1:30pm on March 27, 2026. It will re-open on Saturday March 28, 2026 in Crescent Hall at 10:00am and remain open until the end of the Sale of Excellence.

Ag Mechanics Silent Auction Information & Details:
The Ag Mechanics Silent Auction will begin on Thursday March 27, 2026 at 8:00am in the Main Office and will be moved to the Crescent Hall on Saturday, morning March 28, 2026 at 5:00pm in the Crescent Hall.
