EARLVILLE LIONS CLUB – QUEEN OF HEARTS OFFICIAL DRAW DOWN RULES –
week of Sunday May 31st, 2026 thru Saturday June 6th, 2026
LOCATION: @ The Lounge Bar (117 S. Ottawa Street – Earlville) & 3 doors down to the north @ The American Legion (114 S. Ottawa Street)
COSTS: $5 per ticket, or 5 tickets for every $20 spent – purchased only at our location from a Lions member or QoH volunteer.
MAXIMUM TICKET PURCHASE ALLOWED: $1,000 worth of tickets per person for the week.
POT AMOUNT: as of 5/30/26: $1,020,980 – this game will end when the Queen of Hearts is found on Saturday, June 6th. All proceeds of ticket sales this week will be added to the current total pot amount.
TICKET SALES HOURS:
SUN 5/31: 4pm – 8pm
MON 6/1: CLOSED
TUES 6/2: 4pm – 8pm
WED 6/3: 4pm – 8pm
THURS 6/4: 1pm – 8pm
FRI 6/5: 1pm – 8pm
SAT 6/6: 12pm – 7pm
RULES:
• You must be 21 years of age or older to play.
• You must register your name and phone # into our booklets. You will then receive a “Personal #.” This # goes on the top line of each ticket. Please register as listed on your drivers license!
• There are currently 34 envelopes/cards remaining on our Queen of Hearts board located inside The Lounge. Our game began with a 54-card deck including 2 jokers.
DRAW DOWN PROCESS: On Saturday, June 6th, 2026 @ 8pm we will start the drawdown process. We will draw ‘valid’ tickets until the Queen of Hearts has been revealed. If an envelope that is drawn does not contain the Queen of Hearts, we will then draw another ticket from the raffle barrel, and so on and so forth, until the Queen of Hearts has been found and we have a winner. The corresponding personal # and ticket that is drawn with the correct envelope number in which the Queen of Hearts was found will be our pot winner. The pot winner will then receive 60% of the total pot value (any taxes owed will be the sole responsibility of the winner under their social security # that will be filed by us).
• The winning ticket holder will then be contacted by our Lions Club and we will then make arrangements in order for the winner to claim their prize with their proper identification forms.
• We will draw and use ‘valid’ and ‘legible’ tickets only. We will discard any invalid or illegible tickets, or those that are not filled out properly. All tickets must have your personal number only on the top line, and then only 1 of the remaining envelope numbers on the bottom line.
• The decision of our Queen of Hearts Committee Members on any type of dispute shall be final.
• Any controversy or claim arising out of or relating to this drawdown raffle shall be settled by mandatory arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association.
• The remaining 40% of the pot value will then be dispersed as follows:
o 20% goes to our Earlville Lions Club, which will then be donated out to our local community in Earlville, as well as other local communities, charities, groups and events.
o The final 20% of the pot amount goes back into the pot to start our next Queen of Hearts game.
