U S Military Vets Motorcycle Club - Old No 7 Chapter The U.S. Military Vets MC was established in 1987, in Ft. Lauderdale, FL and is incorporated as a non-profit organization. We learned these things in uniform.

The Eagleville Chapter was established on March 22, 2014. The USMV M/C is a true three-piece patch Motorcycle Club. We are an association of veterans, a Club of bikers, a band of Brothers. We are recognized and respected by other MCs both locally and nationally. We support each other, and recognize that each member has family and professional obligations, and expect that our members meet those pri

orities in a mature and responsible manner. We have two common bonds; first, we are bikers. Second, we have honorably served this nation and stood in harm’s way to defend her. We are not solely a veteran’s organization, such as the VFW (though many of us are life members). We come to the plate knowing about such things as loyalty, duty, and sacrifice. Here we find a place to consistently encounter those things we value most when on Active Duty- respect, camaraderie, unity, and brotherhood.

The first patch you earn when coming into our MC is your probate patch. That patch should be a constant reminder to us of what serving our brothers means. Both during, and after the probate phase. During the probate phase we are pushed hard for aggressive participation, unquestionable duty to serve, and and the willingness to work as hard as possible to earn something we may never receive.

Often times, guys get their patch and they just assume they can slack on showing up to events. They can begin to treat the probates in their club, and others like lesser human beings. They think they no longer have to earn their colors. Being a patch holder should be harder than probating in my opinion. You should push harder to build relationships in the community. You should put more miles on your bike. Don't think once you get your patch it can't be taken away. I've seen several get bumped back down to probate. If you stay Humble and follow your by-laws you will most likely avoid that.

Be a better servant to your brothers as a patch holder than you were as a probate. Do it with Humble Pride. I know that sounds contradictory. Just hear me out. Be humble enough to be the first one to jump up and help a brother when he needs it. Have so much pride in your patch that you're willing to do the task no matter how lame it may be. Hold enough love for your brothers that you are willing to bless them no matter the circumstances.

NO man is better than the other. Doesn't matter if you're the President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, Sargent at Arms or Road Captain. The only patch that matters is the one on your back. Those tabs should mean those guys are more willing to serve The Club and their brothers anyway possible and in different capacities.

To all you out there part of a nation. Be the best Probate or Patch Holder you can. Serve your brothers, love your brothers, and hey try serving your probates from time to time. Never be to big of a man to humble yourself to a level where you're serving the least.
