This is the first issue of the Badger State Muzzleloader, published in 1983. It was 16 pages in length. There were no funds for the paper, printer or computer. The editor of the Badger State donated three colors of paper. The last of this series of issues was in the summer of 1992, number 38. This was the only color design in publication. The logo was hand colored, printed on colored printer and pasted on the cover. The issue also included an iron-on color insignia. The artwork was done by Mac Smith.
