New eLearning Course Now Available
The ALERRT Center at Texas State University has released an introductory eLearning course designed to meet the requirements of the Uvalde Strong Act (HB 33). This course provides a foundational understanding of the concepts and principles needed to effectively respond to and mitigate an active attack incident with the goal of saving as many lives as possible.
Participants will learn the operational phases of an active attack, review current statistics and offender data, and examine recent case studies to reinforce critical lessons learned.

Texas Law Enforcement Only:
This course satisfies the TCOLE requirement for course 3608 and provides 2 hours of TCOLE credit. It meets the HB 33 mandate and counts toward the SB 1852 mandate. Please allow up to 30 days for TCOLE credit to be reported after completion.
