⚜️Pack 2543⚜️was at the Our Lady of Refuge Church Fall Festival! 🇺🇸🍿🎉

Our Cub Scouts conducted a flag ceremony, then teamed up with BOY SCOUT TROOP 2543 - Eagle Pass, Texas to help man the popcorn and cotton candy booth to festivalgoers! Serving our community has never been sweeter! 😋💙

Pack 2543 showed that helping others can be a whole lot of fun! 🙌⚜️

⚜️Pack 2543⚜️ Cubmaster George Gutierrez was the ultimate sport! 🌊 As part of the fundraiser fun, the top ticket seller for the Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts were rewarded with a bucket of ice water on the head!

Not all heroes wear capes; some just wear a soaked Scout uniform! This sure is a fun and lively pack! 😂

⚜️Pack 2543⚜️had an awesome (and educational) fundraiser with butter chicken on basmati rice, naan, and hummus!💙

A HUGE thank-you to our sponsors, Knights of Columbus, who came out in full force! Knight Hector Pérez led the charge and fired up the burners at 5:30 AM and got the cooking rolling. Skip Frausto and the rest of the Knights coordinated authentic preparations, including Ramon and Manuel making indian basmati rice, and Deacon Even and Javie directing traffic, and Hookie & Zeke helping Hector with the incredible butter chicken sauce! You do so much for the Scouts, and we are grateful! 🙌❤️ Our Pack families pitched in with prep work and finishing touches to bring it all together! 🐾

Our Scouts also took their taste buds on an adventure by eating the Indian food themselves! 🌎🍛 Exploring new flavors broadened their horizons, and sharing these plates gave our community a delicious opportunity to experience another culture! Adventure isn’t always out on the trail; sometimes it’s right on your plate! 😋

Thank you, Eagle Pass, for supporting Pack 2543! This pack is service opportunities, full throttle adventures, and learning for our Scouts! This generous community makes it possible!⚜️🎉

Thank you!!
