In light of recent devastating losses, our Cascade community is carrying heavy hearts. You do not have to process grief alone. 🩵💜

RISE Counseling is hosting Light After Loss, a free grief support and informational session designed to help our community heal together.

📅 Date: Monday, August 17th, 2026
⏰ Time: 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM
📍 Location: Cascade Public Library (108 2nd Avenue SW, Cascade, IA 52033)

👥 Who it’s for: Anyone navigating loss - whether grieving a family member, friend, or community impact.

✨ Group Breakouts: The session will split into dedicated Youth & Adult breakout groups.

No registration is required, and this event is completely free.

Two or three ladies spent time last Saturday packing school supplies into backpacks for this coming Saturday’s (July 18) give away at the market! Hope to see you all there!

Then we’ve rented out the pool for a free night of swimming to anyone wishing to attend! 6-8 PM!

🚨MOBILE PANTRY ALERT!🚨 On Saturday, June 27th Resurrection Catholic Church (Dubuque, IA) will host a Drive-Through Food Pantry from 8:30 - 10:00am at 4300 Asbury Road. Due to construction at the site this will be DRIVE THROUGH ONLY. The next mobile pantry will return to the gym as usual.

We are excited to share an inspiring opportunity! In a wonderful partnership with Thrivent and a generous donation from Dyersville Spahn and Rose, we are offering free beds (with mattress and bedding) to children in Dubuque County, ages 3-17, who do not have a bed of their own. With a limited quantity of beds available, please apply today. The beds will be delivered on August 13th. If you know a child in need, please request a bed using the link below.
