Woodlake ARC has revised the neighbor notification form. You no longer have to go door to door to collect signatures (unless you want to — not a bad idea). You can affirm that you notified your neighbors by a variety of means: in person, text, email, letter. Needed revisions to the neighbor notification process was mentioned frequently in the ARC survey last year and we revised it accordingly. Welcome to the Woodlake HOA Architectural Review Committee (ARC) page. This page is for homeowners in the Woodlake Community, located in Durham, North Carolina.
The ARC intends this page to be helpful for homeowners, especially those who plan to make changes to their property. An array of projects such as fences, sheds, decks, additions, new siding colors and tree removal, among other actions, must be approved by the ARC before the project begins; ARC receives and processes applications homeowners submit for approval of planned work. The Woodlake HOA Handbook (https://www.casnc.com/communities/woodlake/) details the standards that must be met for various projects and the ARC applications process (https://www.woodlakecommunity.com/index.php/woodlake/architectural-review)page provides links to online directions and forms for submitting applications.

The ARC hopes that homeowners will use this page to make suggestions about the work of ARC and to find helpful resources. General questions and comments can be posted here. Helpful guides will be available on this page under ‘Files’. Administrative details about this page are under ‘About’. Woodlake homeowners (your neighbors) volunteer to serve on the Architectural Review Committee for indefinite terms. They review applications, assist homeowners to meet requirements, maintain and improve ARC systems, and answer questions. We are always happy to add members. We look forward to hearing from you.
