We're heading back to Alan Campos Trailer Homes! Join Purple Knights on Sat, April 26th from 10:00am-1:00pm, as we return to the community devastated by Hurricane Helene (Sept 2024). Purple Knights was born from this disaster, with 20 volunteers putting in over 800 hours to help families rebuild. Now, we're celebrating a day of community with donations, resources, and giveaways. After the tragic devastation of hurricane Helen, Purple Knights was on the grounds of Alan Campos homes in Swannanoa, North Carolina, from September through October 2024.

We rebuild 40 trailers homes and supported 40 families with over 800 hours of volunteer hours and donated materials.

WE ARE NOW GOING BACK this Spring! We can use your support. We are looking for gifts cards, toiletries and/or cleaning supplies to support those families again.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who participated in our first annual community meet and greet dog day celebration on Sat Feb 1, 2025. We would like to express our sincere appreciation to our incredible partners, including Rapid Insurance, Durham Police K9 Unit, New York Life Raleigh, Meals on Wheels Durham, APS Durham Animal Protection Society, Connecting Community, Wellness Coaching w/ Tita LLC, Mutual of Omaha, UNC Chapel Hill Emma Cain, Charles Gras-Najjar and the Triangle Nonprofit & Volunteer Leadership Center.
