This is a friend of mines grandson. Hugs to the family and you go Corbin!!!

Corbin’s journey began just days after he was born, when his bilirubin levels wouldn’t come down, and his parents knew something wasn’t right. After countless tests, hospital visits, and weeks of uncertainty, Corbin was diagnosed with not one, but two rare liver diseases: biliary atresia and Alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency.

At just 5 months old, Corbin received the life-saving liver transplant his family had been praying for. Now, nearly 3.5 years later, Corbin is thriving.

“Every single day since has felt like a gift we don’t take for granted,” his mom, Lindsey, shared. “Corbin is thriving in ways we once only prayed for during those long hospital days. Watching him run, play, and simply enjoy being a kid is something that still feels surreal to us.”

Lindsey lovingly calls him “My Little Courageous Corbin,” a name that still fits him perfectly today.

Because of one selfless donor, Corbin has a second chance at life. “Their selfless gift made all of this possible,” Lindsey said, “and it’s the reason we get to watch him grow, laugh, and just be a kid.”

You can make a difference for a child like Corbin. Choose donation! Register at DonateLifeNC.org/Register to make a difference 💚
