Come audition for Duke Chinese Dance and join our amazing community! Duke Chinese Dance aims to celebrate the rich Chinese culture by exploring both traditional and contemporary styles of dance. By joining our family, you'll be able to find some of your closest friends at our hotpot outings, boba runs, white elephant nights, and so much more!

Main Audition: Sunday 9/11 from 4 to 6 PM at Rubenstein Arts Center 124
Makeup Audition: Friday 9/16 from 7 to 9 PM at Arts Annex Studio 1
(Only attend one audition. Bring water and clothes you can move comfortably in!)

We are inviting all members of the Duke Community to join our annual open dance, to be performed at our showcase in April. No dance experience is required to participate - we welcome all dance and cultural backgrounds to join us and learn more about storytelling through dance!

Black Lives Matter. As a dance group that values inclusion & and diversity, DCD is committed to actively act upon posted resources to support the Black community through education, donations, petitions, and contacting representatives. As a group focused on Chinese & Asian American culture, we are also committed to critically understanding the complex interactions between Asian and Black communities & educating our friends and families across generations about colorism and social injustices. THANK YOU so much for joining us at our first-ever virtual showcase! It was very fun and exciting - even though the show was not in an actual theatre, it was wonderful just being together in a space we call home, with so much love and support from our current members, alumni, and friends and family of DCD.
