1st Annual Anti-Bully Event:
"Be Kind Together"

Hotdog service starts at 11 am - 11:30 am.

Shirts came in! Parents who reached out at the beginning of this venture will need to pick up at the event on May 1 and 2.

Great news! Our original order of shirts, that will be gifted to students who were affected by bullying and reached out to me during the promotion of the event, will now be processed. Our team will receive that order some time this weekend for sorting. Parents of the students will be notified and asked to pick up your student's t-shirt gift at the event on May1 or May 2 (you will need to sign-off you've received it).

This is our first event and we look forward to Bryan County school staff, students, and families to attend. All should have received an invitation as this is not mandatory. Our speakers are looking forward to presenting to the students the importance of being kind and we can work toward ending bullying together as a community. As this is an educational event, there will be character building booths that will explain how we can work through a challenging situation and also how our actions now may impact our future.

***Food and beverage will be available first come, first serve as these were donated generously by local businesses and restaurants. Thank you all for your support!

I want to take a moment for Autumn Bushman from Virginia. She did her best to stand up for the bullied but, the retaliation was too much. Her family asks only that more kindness be put back into the world.

Do 10 kind things today in honor of her 10 years of age.

This is exactly why I started this group and worked with a team to hold Anti-bully events. Enough is enough. And, we look to prevent tragedies such as this in our Bryan County community.
