Durand Improvement Group (DIG) DIG is a community-focused organization dedicated to enhancing the economic vitality, visual appeal, and overall quality of life in Durand.

We support local businesses, organize community events, promote tourism, and lead beautification projects. Goals & Objectives

To INSPIRE fellowship, a stronger community base and historical preservation in our River Town

To DEVELOP ideas to stimulate growth of our community as well as attract new businesses. To PROMOTE the concept that working together improves the advancement of the community

To SERVE as coordinator for community events that impact the goals of the organization

Join us for DIGโ€™s 9th Annual Trunk or Treat on Saturday, October 31, from 3:00โ€“4:30 PM on Main Street in Durand!

Set-up: Begins at 2:00 PM
Event: 3:00 PMโ€“4:30 PM
Location: Main Street, from 1st Avenue to 4th Avenue W
Sponsored by: Durand Improvement Group & Durand Police Department

Businesses located within the event area will receive the space directly in front of their business. Businesses and clubs located elsewhere will be able to choose from the available spaces between participating Main Street businesses.

Come ready to decorate your trunk, hand out treats, and help make this annual community tradition a spooktacular success! ๐Ÿ‘ป๐ŸŽƒ

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT!

We are excited to announce that repairs and renovations have begun on the Memorial Park Bandshell, which includes work on the restrooms. Because of the construction, the restroooms are no longer open.

Portable restrooms will be placed in the park for upcoming events.

We are looking for one more person who is willing to open their home this holiday season for the return of the Christmas Tour of Homes. The tour is scheduled for Saturday, December 5, 2026 from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM.

Unfortunately, we didnโ€™t get any pictures of the AWESOME crowd or of Chrisโ€™s performance last night. However, we are blown away by how many of you showed up Wednesday night!

Thank you to our friends at Corral Bar and Riverside Grill, Club TEN Bar & Grill and The Creamery Courier for providing some great food and desserts.

Renovations to the Bandshell have officially begun! ๐ŸŽ‰ Years of fundraising, hard work, and dedication from past and present DIG/FunFest members are finally paying off! ๐Ÿคฉ

Mug Root Beer - 38

24 for $36.00 (equivalent to $1.50/bottle). Not all 24 have to be the same kind - mix and match if youโ€™d like!

Our last Music in the Park of 2026 is almost here. Join us on Wednesday, August 19th, from 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM as we welcome back Chris Kroeze!

Don't forget our Taste of Durand featuring our friends at Corral Bar and Riverside Grill, Club TEN Bar & Grill, and The Creamery Courier.

Corral will be serving beef & chicken Philly sandwiches and chips.

Club TEN will be serving burgers and deep-fried cheese curds.

Creamery Courier will be serving delicious Chocolate Shoppe ice cream.

We will also be welcoming fun balloon art made by Balloons by Kevin and face painting by Artfully Fun Creations!

The Durand Improvement Group is thrilled to invite you to the grand finale of our 2026 Music in the Park series!

We are pulling out all the stops with a special Taste of Durand event, showcasing the fantastic flavors from our local restaurants, alongside a canโ€™t-miss performance by Chris Kroeze!

Itโ€™s been a wonderful summer of music, and we want to see all of you there to celebrate one last time.
