🧺🫧 Picnic with the Librarian! 📚🎉

We're celebrating our amazing Summer Reading Program readers with an afternoon of foam-filled fun!

📅 When: Friday, July 17
⏰ 10:00 AM–12:00 PM
📍 Where: Coops Creek Commons, 287 Pine Street, Dunlap, TN 37327
🎟️ Free and open to the public!

If your child collected all 4 weekly stamps on their reading log, we can't wait to celebrate with you! If you attended one or more of our June Summer Reading Program events but forgot your reading log or stamps, you're welcome too.

Didn't get a chance to participate in our Summer Reading Program this June? We'd still love to have you join us for the fun and learn more about what we offer throughout the year. Everyone is welcome!

🫧 We'll be joined by Dinosaur Foam Party and, to help beat the July heat, we'll be playing in colorful foam fired from the mouth of a dinosaur!

⚠️ Please note: The foam may stain clothing and skin green. While it should wash off skin, it may not wash out of clothing. Be sure to wear clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting stained or turning green.

🧺 Food: Pizza
🥤 Drinks: Capri Suns

🥗 Families are welcome to bring their own food and/or drinks if they have allergies, dietary restrictions, or personal preferences.

We can't wait to celebrate all of your hard work and reading accomplishments! 🎉📖

We're on the hunt for high school yearbooks from Sequatchie Co. High School to help preserve memories, connect family stories, and uncover pieces of our community's history. Whether you have yearbooks tucked away in an attic, stored on a bookshelf, or passed down through generations, we'd love to hear from you.

Every yearbook can provide valuable clues for family research and help future generations learn more about the people who shaped our community. If you'd like to donate the missing yearbooks, please take them to the library!
