Ever wonder what it’s like to have a horse in the Kentucky Derby and do the famous walk from the stable to cheer your horse on only to come in second… twice? Or to win the Belmont? How about having a husband who caddied for the pro golfers and wrote a book about it? New member Kaye Martin can tell you. Visit our club, sit beside Kaye, and she will be glad to answer your questions. You never know the stories behind those who put Service Above Self!

Three of our Rotary members’ favorite activities happened at our Wednesday meeting this week: recognizing Gary Coughlin’s PHF+2 pinning showing his financial support of The Rotary Foundation, induction of Emily Gattorna by our DGE and the gift of scholarships worth $3620 each to Zaria Harris and Yatoya Gordon. And to top it off, a great breakfast catered by Marguerite’s at the Scottish American Society!

In June, two rising high school seniors sponsored by Dunedin North will head to a week-long leadership training camp, S4TL, at Florida Southern College in Lakeland. Over 140 students from three districts will participate and form lifetime friendships and new leadership skills. It's life-changing! So life-changing that many apply and return as counselors and planners in future years.

Mark your calendars for April 2, 2027. Plan to have FUN while doing GOOD! Watch for details.

Who are Rotarians? Meet new member Capt. Rob Cozen who told of his life yesterday. Service above self comes naturally to him. From helping veterans by giving money and time to paying for a child in Kenya to attend school for a year, he strives to make his daughter in heaven proud of him. Rob, you are exceptional and we are proud you chose our club as an avenue to continue to make a difference for many.

May the 4th be with you and may you follow Rotary’s 4-Way Test.

May the 4th be with you and may you follow Rotary’s 4-Way Test.

Happy Star Wars Day – May the 4th Be With You! ✨

In a galaxy not so far away… even the most powerful leaders need a guide to doing the right thing.

So today, here's a Rotary twist with a little bit of some Jedi mind trick influence:

⚡ The Force Way Test

Of the things we think, say or do…or do not...there is no try!

🔹 Is it the truth… from a certain point of view?
🔹 Is it fair to all beings across the galaxy?
🔹 Will it build goodwill and better alliances?
🔹 Will it be beneficial to all… or lead us to the dark side?

Because whether you're a Jedi, a Sith, or just trying to get through a Monday…
doing good, being fair, and making a positive difference never goes out of style.

May the Force for Good guide your actions today and every day.

Come to our meeting this Wednesday, 7:30-8:30 am, Dunedin Golf Club, to hear Chief Michael Handoga give the scoop on Dunedin’s Fire & Rescue just in time for National EMS Week, which runs from May 17–23. The Chief will also bring a special guest.

Help celebrate the 52nd annual recognition of EMTs, paramedics, and emergency personnel. With the theme “Improving Outcomes, Together,” this week honors the lifesaving, 24/7 care provided by frontline responders. It is an ideal time for communities to show gratitude and raise awareness about EMS services.

Please share -- this program is too good to miss! Visitors ALWAYS welcome.

You don’t need to be a Rotarian to join us and see why our motto is Doing Good-Having Fun. Remember, 5th Wednesdays are for having fun-both at our morning breakfast and later at the bar!
