As Father’s Day approaches, we want to take a moment to pray for every child who is facing this day without a dad.

Heavenly Father,

You are the Father to the fatherless, and You see every child who may feel sad, different, or forgotten as Father’s Day draws near.

Wrap them in Your love and remind them that they are never alone. Be their comfort in the moments that hurt, their strength when they feel weak, and their peace when their hearts feel heavy.

Let them know that they are chosen, treasured, and created with a special purpose.

“A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in His holy dwelling.” — Psalm 68:5

Lord, place caring people in their lives who will encourage them, guide them, and show them Your love.

Help them to remember that even when their earthly story looks different, they have a perfect Heavenly Father who will never leave them.

To the single mom who needs a little encouragement today...

You carry so much.

You make the decisions, pay the bills, comfort the tears, manage the schedules, and keep moving forward even when you're exhausted.

There are days when you wonder if you're doing enough.
Days when you feel overwhelmed by the weight of it all.
Days when you wish someone else could share the load.

But God sees every sacrifice you make.

He sees the love behind every meal prepared, every ride given, every prayer whispered over your children. Nothing is overlooked by your Heavenly Father.

“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” — Galatians 6:9

When you feel weak, He is your strength.
When you feel alone, He is your companion.
When you don't know what tomorrow holds, He is already there.

Keep going.

Your faithfulness matters.
Your love matters.
And the seeds you are planting in your children’s lives are making a difference, even when you can't yet see the fruit.
