Our name may say residential care, but our impact has always reached beyond where someone lives.

In 1973, Area Residential Care opened its Vocational Services Center on Central Avenue, expanding opportunities for individuals to develop skills and participate more fully in the community. Decades later, the organization continued expanding programming, including opening what became the Life Choices Adult Day program to the public in 2012.

Today, Area Residential Care continues to provide supports designed around the needs, goals and independence of each individual.
