Key City Pit Bulls believes pit bulls and their responsible owners have a lot to offer the Tri-States, and we appreciate the privilege of living in this great community. We do not condone irresponsible ownership, neglect, cruelty, or dog fighting. We will work hard to prevent the implementation of breed-specific laws that ban dogs based on breed alone, especially by setting a good example.

Pit bull dogs or "bully" breeds have been with us for over 100 years They were used by the U.S. Military in World War 1 in promotional posters, as the 'all American Dog'. They were family and farm dogs, so good with children, they were often referred to as ' Nanny Dogs ' . Petey the Pup from the Little Rascals was a pit bull.
