Your DSHS PTSA gave almost $5000 in scholarships last night to six deserving seniors ($825 to each student)! We might not be good at this picture taking thing- (swipe to see our failed attempt at a group shot!) but we were blown away with how much potential these seniors have! Monday will be a special day in the Inner Loop Lounge with a comfort dog visit from Bethany Lutheran Comfort Dog ministry and a Teacher Clothing Closet from NHS member, Marianne Thomas, after her local Tiger Closet clothing drive netted over 100 lbs of ♻️ , Prom Closet donations, Tiger Closet donations, and enough extra clothing for a pop-up Teacher Clothing Closet!

What an amazing time we had making a delicious lunch for all our teachers and staff! It was fun grilling burgers (and vegan ones) plus we had all the toppings they could ask for! Desserts and drinks donated by you were a big hit! Many thanks to our PTSA board and volunteers for five hours of grilling and serving!!! We can say, without a doubt, that we appreciate our teachers!!
